The work invites each individual to find satisfaction, in their dancing and in their approach to thinking about how they might resource their practice now and in the future. In its structure there is a delightful combination of full dancing, curious partner work, research and self questioning. All of these are underpinned by a philosophy of generosity, truth and purpose.
I notice and sense a feeling of a growing group intelligence. As each person begins to speak and also to learn to listen, the group begin to co-exist and to be ready to support both the process and the needs of each member of the group. It is a rich way to form a kind and generous alliance among and between the students. The ethos and the process that Tom facilitates through North Star, encourages a vital alternative environment.
